Fundraising Letters

Problem: The Approve Referendum 71 campaign had a short time to reach a high fundraising goal. They needed letters almost daily to galvanize various donor bases into contributing. The letters had to react to the latest news or polling data -- or, if there wasn't any, contain a fresh angle.

Solution: I was able to turn letters around on very tight deadlines, often less than 24 hours. When news was slow, I got creative. The letters brought in an average of $15K/each despite going to a list that was hit several times per week.
